I currently am the owner of a yahoo group and I just found out they are taking their groups platform down on 12/15.? I would like to move my group to groups.io.? Couple questions¡
?
1. I only really need basic, but I¡¯d like to pay for one month so I can direct add my members.? I assume I create the group in groups.io basic, so I can set it up the way it will function in the long run. ?Then what do I do and how do I do it?? (I assume I need to pay and then direct add, but is that easy for a non-tech person, because if not, I¡¯m probably better off with the basic invite, but that¡¯s a lot of work.)
?
2.? In yahoogroups, when a member replies to an email, the member can either select reply or reply all like for all standard emails.? However I believe I read that in groups.io, the owner must choose in set-up of group where replies go and it is the same whether member hits their normal reply or reply all buttons¡it will only go to the same designated place which has been set up for either replies go to sender or group.? Is that correct?? I¡¯d like members to be able to hit reply and it go to sender or reply all and go to all¡so it works just like it does for regular email.? (I know there are links at the bottom of groups.io emails that can be added for reply to sender and reply all, but most people just use the normal reply or reply all buttons.) ????
