Hi - Let me see if I understand this correctly.? In a free group if an item is sent as an attachment and the storage space is approaching max of 1 Gig then those oldest attachments would be eliminated automatically after notification to the owner in order to free up space for newer ones.? However, if a photo is sent in the body of an email then it would take up the space but could not be eliminated except by the owner going and finding it and deleting that email???
I am finding that most people using their phones to upload have photos in the bodies of emails and not in separate attachments.? People using computers usually do it the other way.? This is not a pressing issue for my new free groups I just want to make sure that I understand so that I can figure out how to address it when it occurs.? My group shares a lot of photos especially now in this pandemic.? I have already notified everyone in the group that any photos anyone wants kept need to be downloaded to their own devices.?
