Thank you J_Catlady for your advice which I have taken and just now applied to Groups.io for the transfer ¨C I had already opened a group ¨C fully expecting for this to happen and with Shal¡¯s wonderful advice I am hopeful of an excellent outcome.

I'm in a rush so I'll say this briefly: try to switch asap. Yahoo groups have gotten so bad that Mark (the head of ) has said he may have to stop transferring groups soon because yahoo groups has become so dysfunctional that he may not be able to do more transfers at some point. Groups.io is so much better that there's no comparison. You may not get every single feature you want but you'll get many others that are better, and you will get 100% responsiveness from support whereas in yahoo groups it's zero. The transfer is seamless and in the odd case that anything goes wrong, Mark is extremely responsive and fixes stuff nearly immediately. The polar opposite of yahoo groups. I would just do it, and do it soon before it's too late!
