Have they looked in their spam folder online

That is where it probably is (given they have already been unsubscribed for marking as spam or their emailer has deleted a groups.io post after 30 days which is the norm)

If they find its there and mark as "not spam" which returns it to their inbox they may not have the problem again

Spam filters need training and by marking as "not spam" its teaching the filters
