It's a setting on their computer. They need to choose which program opens when they click a mailto link. Details depend on whether they are using a Mac or different versions of Windows.

As to why the problem only started recently, maybe they installed or uninstalled an email program or reinstalled the operating system, or it is a new computer. In any event, not a problem with Groups.IO. They would see the same thing with any other reply type of link.
