Tim -- You should find the open poll among your messages. If you are struggling to find it, go to your Home page and click on the #poll hashtag. Click open the poll itself and you'll see something like the screenshot below. Note the "See Results" link...click on that to, well, see the results.

In the screenshot below, I have clicked on the More menu at bottom right to open the popup dialog. If you select "Edit Poll" (as I have done here), there will be a "Close Poll" button at the bottom of the resulting page.
