I'd like to add my deepest thanks to groups.io.
We're a group of western Zen Buddhist teachers that has used Yahoo since 2001 for keeping connections, sharing and discussing between our annual in person meetings. A library of photos and documents were also built up for sharing. It was a shock to learn Yahoo was closing down most functions. We looked at alternatives and chose groups.io.
It was a rough ride transfering. Photos and files was easy but an erratic Yahoo lately caused several failed transfers. We wondered if it could be done in time for the cutoff. Groups.io's GMF was a great help both in docs and replying to our questions. Today our 15,000 messages were transferred. The one time annual Premium fee was a small amount to be able to save our files, photos and conversations.
