Help,
I am trying to help move a group from yahoo groups that I did not setup. The original owner has made me an owner of the yahoo group but I still seem to not have full permissions of the existing yahoo group.? Many items say I do not have permissions, I can't edit settings of the old yahoo group, etc.? I can't find a way to invite the needed alias for transfers. Specifically, the ability to simply invite the '
[email protected]' required to start the transfer process from Yahoo groups to Groups.io.? ?Or if someone knows what instructions I can send the original owner that might help?? Everything I search seems to not be available when I look in the group so unclear why being an owner doesn't allow the necessary operations?
If anyone has any suggestions I'd be grateful as we are trying to move the content before the December date.? ? For reference the simple instructions I'm referring to are in step 3 of this link?
