I've just done a test and my Yahoo group functionality is working again. I can change roles and invite members. That was not working at all for the past two days.
On the other hand, I don't see why you are complicating things and worrying about your Yahoo group owner getting you registered. Just have the Owner do the invite and make the
[email protected]?member a moderator.
