Not necessarily. Go to your hashtags and work through them; some may indeed relate to part numbers and the like, so leave them at the moment. Identify the others that clearly aren't part numbers (#Wow for example) and delete them. Once that's done you can perhaps work your way through the "part numbers" and slowly get rid of them; is there any real value in a message years ago about a specific part number or something equally not deserving of a hashtag?

Before you start it might be worth considering preventing your members from creating hashtags(if you haven't done tis already) so that they can only use ones that you are happy with and thus have set up yourself. Go to Admin > Settings and scroll down to Message Policies; set Hashtag Permissions to something other than Messages can ge tagged with new hashtags. Don't forget to save the change... If you don't stop members creating new and bizarre hashtags they will probably grow in number faster than you can get rid of them again.
