Yahoo group members manually joining group on io

We¡¯re currently awaiting transfer of our group into io ¨C RacalRA17forum (we¡¯re currently 528 in queue) ¨C and in spite of my request to the Yahoo version of the site not to manually join the new group, a few members have. ? Can I set joining the new list to moderated only? Will that mess with the group transfer into io? Do I need to unsubscribe the members who have manually joined? ? Thanks
