? I have transferred 19 lists since January 2018, all of them I set the max image size to 1024 x 1024 pixels.? This provides a full height image on my 32" monitors.
The last list I transferred went from 3 GB photo storage on YG to 500MB? on groups.io, 75 -80% reduced storage has been typical; you should be able to store about 10,000 images
on a free list if you select the same max image size for photos, files, messages, etc...

Resizing photos?

Our group is only on the basic allowance for storage. I have no idea what would be a decent size to resize photos in photo section so that they take up less space but are a reasonable size to see. Any suggestions?
Also, if I set it at strip attachments in emails will that just delete the attachment but let the post through?
