I have a primary membership group and a subgroup my organization uses for managing membership requests. This management subgroup is managed by a handful of individuals who need to receive these emails. Right now, I've got the membership request subgroup configured to allow non-registered emails to go through with moderation. This allows me to add only the management users to that subgroup while still allowing our other members to email the list. All of the management subgroup people should receive the emails sent to the subgroup (which does occur), and the original sender should get a response (works if we "reply all"), but I don't want all members of the primary group to get these emails.
This does work as configured. However, this has been proving to be quite a large management burden as I have to approve all emails to this subgroup which adds a significant delay. Is it possible to configure the system in some way to allow my members to email this subgroup without being part of the subgroup itself. Or a way to add them to this subgroup so they can email freely, without them receiving all emails other than their own?
I've seen something similar to this on other tools called a "Support Group". Is it possible to configure groups.io to work this way?
I'm a bit stumped. Any help you can provide would be much appreciated.
