It's been 5 days since we completed the steps for the transfer.? While I realize it may take a few additional days is there somewhere we can check the status??

Also - will the members listed on the Yahoo site auto receive invitations to join?? I'd heard/read yes but had not seen a place to mark it that way and want to ensure we are covered.

They will get a welcome notice. Either the plain vanilla variety or your customized one. Go to Admin, Settings the Member Notices tab.
You can set up a variety of notices.

Lastly, someone has joined our group - 1. the group was marked as private as only club members will be allowed to join and 2. Is this something that occurs as part of the transfer?? I don't want to delete him unless know ok to do.--?

You should set up a Pending Subscription notice -?

That gives you a chance to review the subscription request.
NOTE: This option is only available to Restricted groups. See Admin>Settings>Spam Control.
