invitation, I have not been able to make it a moderator in order to start the
process.

I¡¯m fine with a long time for completion; there¡¯s no
activity expected currently in the YG, but I get worried that there¡¯s some
glitch preventing acceptance (though I wasn¡¯t hit with the ¡®doesn¡¯t want¡¯
bug).

... at least at 6AM EDT, the invite (both of them) had not been
accepted. There was a problem getting invites to the transfer
agent yesterday evening.? You can find out if the invitation has been
received by checking the transfer status of your group.? See /g/GroupManagersForum/message/19948?
After the invite is received, there's a delay of a few days until it will be
accepted, so keep checking the status page until it changes. Duane --
