Odd situation - Yahoo says transfer@ has accepted, status doesn't #transfer

 

What does this mean? I got emails from Yahoo saying that [email protected] had accepted invitations to both groups that I am getting transferred. But I have NOT yet received an email from Groups.io, nor does the transfer status indicate that it has been accepted. (i.e. it still reads "We've received the invite to your group and will accept it soon. There is no need to send another invite.")

Is it OK to go ahead and promote the user to Moderator on the Yahoo groups? Are any particular mod permissions needed?
