Yep, I got rid of ¡°test¡± in the group name well before instigating the transfer. Even before upgrading to a premium account. And I can confirm that the correct name is showing up on the transfer page (¡°awaiting transfer¡±).

Now that I know where that welcome message is stored, I¡¯ve edited the heck out of it (and made sure all the links have the correct URLs). Not a bad interface!

setting it up?If you changed the name at Step 1 of the transfer process, you should be fine. If you changed it at Step 4, I can't imagine any good coming from that.
There are several adverse impacts to renaming a group. See?
/g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/Renaming-a-GroupGo to Admin>Settings>Member Notices and edit it. But if I were you, I'd immediately be going to the transfer status page to see if the group names listed remain correct -- and if not, what you can do to fix it. You can fix the welcome message anytime, but you don't want your transfer to hang.
