Few welcome price increases, but upon reflection I am happy to see people supportive of Mark and Group.io.? I am sympathetic to the growing pains he¡¯s experiencing.? Think of somebody being stuffed like a goose!? Or suffering a drought and being flooded out. Too much of a good thing - and what awaits?
?We all have a stake in his success, including not being pressed to dilute his company ownership position ill advisedly while desperately seeking bridge funding.? Failing, and we all have to move again.? Think about that!

so glad i moved all of my groups over a year ago and told all other group owners that i knew to do the same .. most followed my advice and some didn't and now they have to pay more or just lose their archives and access to? group page. I feel bad as the group has been around since 2006 and used to be very active so it's hard to see that group just disappear like that.
Mark deserves to get paid for his work ... groups IO has been an excellent alternative and while some of my groups are enterprise -- others are free and we've all worked extremely well.??
