If the user is using a different email address for reception, this can be the case if he is using email forwarding service, like I do, he has to add this email adress to his aliases at the user settings page.
This is one big advantage compared to the yahoo system. At groups.io I can answer mails from a bunch of different email addresses if they are set up in email alias page.
