Rhoda -- To do this, tick the Restricted Membership checkbox for Spam Control in your group Settings...and that's all. With that setting, you
will have to approve people's pending subscriptions, but you
will not have to moderate any messages. Please note that there is no provision within groups.io to allow someone to join your group on their own volition and immediately begin posting without moderation. Such a Spam Control setting would provide no spam control at all.
