Well the wiki has a quick start section plus advice to group members. You don't have to be a member of this group or even Groups.io to read it.
Perhaps the Group Management section should be more split off from these. Even graphically. /g/GroupManagersForum/wiki/home The Wiki is jointly maintained by volunteers (including me from time to time).
