p.s. In looking at the original yahoo group, I see that there are about 250 members. So it seems the group owner has simply not yet done the transfer process.?

BTW, moderating posts by new members is not "standard operating procedure" in . It's just one of the options available to group owners to prevent spam.

In answer to your specific question, no, there's nothing that can be done so that you can post to the group. It's entirely up to the group owner to start being active there.?
