We are looking into moving to groups.io and note that there is no option to restrict a group to be invite only.? I have found various options to strap down unwanted activity, but would like to suggest a simple addition that would help us and probably others.
When a non-group members tries to send an email to the group it is rejected (correctly) but the rejection email contains a couple of links/emails saying theses can be used to join the group.?This rejection is way too positive for invite only groups.
The unwanted group member just clicks on the link or send an email asking for membership and we then have to get rid of them (nicely)!
By having a flag (or even better, by being able to control the reject email content) it would be possible to return a message that is more appropriate and one that does not solicit a membership request.
Thank you,
Tony
