This is not actually a bug in groups.io, but occurs because your browser has cached the previous album view.?

Unfortunately, refreshing the page after each deletion (and waiting for the page to reload) is probably the best way to remedy it. You could temporarily disable your cache entirely but that would just slow things down even more.
