Email spoofing (pretendinh it was you who sent it) / SPAM and SCAM trojan phishing is rife. ?
Who said anything about spoofing? The messages I've received from QQ users are not spoofed. A bit misguided, maybe spammy (advertising), but not misleading.

My own domain has been scanned and I'm getting hostage/ extortion emails. Luckily I can 'dispose' of these. ?
Yeah, I've received some of those, as have my coworkers. Those are spoofed to be "From" oneself. The claims about my online behavior are crazy enough to clue me in that the sender has no actual knowledge of anything other than my email address. I guess they're hoping they'll scare some people into paying them.

Too late now (for the one's I've received), but another good place to report actual spam / abuse is but they don't take messages that have been forwarded (as in messages to a group or group+owner), only those that arrive directly to your email.
