You can add a photo - in Admin, Settings, Cover Photo.?
I also added an icon for each of my groups. I chose something related to my my group or cover photo. These show up when I go to My Groups on my iPhone.

You can edit your group description. Admin, Settings. Scroll down for Description.?I also added to this -?

Too much mail? ?Use Subscription in the left menu for delivery options. Try Advanced Preferences. Or use the footers in your email to tailor delivery options for specific threads.

Files, photos, wiki, older messages - all available here on the group's homepage.

You can use bolding, and other formatting. You can add hyperlinks.
