Those are actually the same. The only difference is that the group website doesn't include the footers.
You can't control where (or even if) an attached photo will be shown in any given email interface.
As Bruce said in response to your prior message, you can only control the placement of the photo by inserting (aka "embedding") it into the body of a formatted (HTML) message. How you do that depends on your email interface. In your group's website use the Add Pictures button in the formatting toolbar.
