What I've done in a case like this is send a Bounce Probe to the red ones (doesn't hurt to send them to the blue ones, but shouldn't be needed.) If they're still bouncing in a few days to a week, I remove them. If they haven't noticed that they're not getting group messages, I would doubt that they're still interested. Once in awhile, someone will return after they've been removed, but not often.
