Normal Service has been resumed!
I have
not been able to confirm that the deletion of an attached photograph (
not the message to which it was attached) results in an "edit notification" of any sort. I uploaded an attached photo as an ordinary member to a certain test group. I then changed status (different log in) to a that of a moderator and released the message, which duly appeared in the web UI. I received an email (with the attachment) to my ordinary member's email address as normal. I then deleted the photo; the "Edited" flag duly appeared on the web UI but no notification of the edit was sent to my "member's" email address.
So is the assertion that members are notified if an attached photo they emailed is deleted actually true? I accept that it might have been once but at the moment... it would appear not. It certainly didn't work for me.
