I don't see that subgroup using the main Subgroups menu because I'm not a member.? If I go under Admin and select Subgroups, I can see all of them, and I just checked the box related to that new subgroup to become a member.? Interesting note - I show as an Owner; not as a Parent Owner which is a nit but interesting difference than expected.? I don't think I should actively have to do that, but maybe I don't understand what an owner really has access to automatically.
After you click on the main Subgroups (SG) option, a page should open that can have 3 sections, Main Group, Subgroups You Belong To, and Subgroups You Can Join.? If you're not a member of the SG, it will be in the last section.? Since you are now a Member of the SG, it will show you as Owner.? The Parent Owner only shows up if you're not a member of that SG, but own the group.? I can't think of any way that you wouldn't be able to see the new SG on the SG page someplace.
