Beth,
This user says that she is getting topic/message emails ... , but when
she tries to set a password by going to the login page and clicking on
forget password she never gets that email.
In the category of "Is it plugged in?" questions, she should check at her service's webmail interface for any Junk or Spam folders that may be catching the logon emails, or any filters she can set to accept email from groups.io or from
[email protected] (aka "whitelist" them).
She should also make sure that the email address she's trying to use is exactly the same as that shown in the bottom of a footer from a group message she has received. It is amazing how many times members typo their own email address, or type the wrong address because they had previously set up a forwarding arrangement.
