Re: Group messages being blocked to @cox.net addresses

Would an email alias work for him, allowing him to post from either his Gmail or Cox addresses? See this recent thread:

First, thanks for the various replies to my query. My member chose to completely bypass the problem. I removed him from the group and he subscribed with a Gmail account, and will forward the messages to his Cox.net account. It's a half-assed approach because he will have to log into Gmail to send any posts, but he's an occasional contributor and at least this way, he sees the posts and can log in to the site when he wishes.
Now, as for Cox, what an awful ISP. My heart goes out to those who use them. I ran the analyzer routine that someone posted and sure enough, the error message points to Cox as delaying the emails. And they do not allow whitelisting, so that's a dead end. If this problem gets resolved on their end, I'd be surprised. Their CS representative was not at all helpful to my member, either.
