Is it possible to have a phpBB forum transferred to Groups.io?

There is no automated "easy group transfer" for that type of forum, but generally support is able to import a list of email addresses as members if you can extract that from the forum in a text file (one per line).

Support can also import messages in mbox format, if you can get the forum content out in that form, or convert it to that form.
