You are missing the point.

Group owner intervention in this case is of course a good idea, but having the subscriber send an unbounce request without having done anything to resolve the problem accomplishes nothing.

In principle, if they haven't already done something to resolve bouncing status, they will not receive the bounce probe, and therefore cannot respond to it.?
