So I submitted a question earlier about a new group that I was admitted to but it doesn't show up in my groups.io list under my standard userid. It turns out that my friend issued an invite to me at my gmail account but it didn't contain the dot between my first and last names. The invite found its way into my gmail inbox and I accepted the invite, but she also made me an owner of the list. However, apparently there is a conflict between groups.io allowing me access to the group under firstnamelastname@... but not under firstname.lastname@... which is my correct email address. What does one do to resolve this conflict?

The behavior is that when I log in under my valid email address, I see all of the groups that were originally there but not the new group that my friend created. When I go into groups.io in the invite email, I can only see the landing page for the group and the list of groups that were originally there NOT including the new group. Kind of weird. Thanks for any help you can give.
