Just Curious - Receiving your own posts in Gmail

I see you have a Gmail account, and there is a setting in Gmail that
allows you to receive copies of what you send out.

?I keep reading this rumor, but so far no one has ever managed to show me a Gmail setting or use case that actually lets me see my own messages returned.

I am not sure where that setting is, but I set mine a long time ago to
allow me to receive copies of what I send out.

?There is the My Posts setting in the ?Preferences page of your Groups.io account. When checked it implements a work-around to Gmail's "feature" - replaces the Message ID of messages you posted when they are addressed back to you. That makes it no longer "the same message" in Gmail's algorithms.

But IIRC that checkbox is on by default, so that shouldn't be an issue for people who've never seen it.
