Folks,
I swear this is true. Last week I drove over to Trevor Wye's in Hastingleigh
from my Mother's in Deal, Kent. I drove thru Bridge, nr Canterbury...and
where Mozart stayed on his return from London when he was six...and had just
written his first symphony. I went thru "Pett Bottom"...<<GGG>> and the
next place was called "Lynsore Bottom".........maybe petted it a bit too much!!
Of course the first place may be a corruption of "Pettway Bottom"........
