that's good. I'm glad you picked up your flute again after decades. I've been playing the flute for 22 years. Oh my teacher had to do, because she also taught me piano, is start me on a piece of music at her house on either instrument, and then I would take it from there on my own at home. I have perfect pitch, which can be a blessing or a curse. You never know what can happen. I find that splitting my notes is easier than trying what is called the baroque or fork method.?

Yes, of course I remember you!!? Welcome back to the fold.? :-D
Connie from California here.?? I picked my flute back up after decades (having been self-taught as a kid, so lots of bad habits) and got a few lessons from a pro, who showed me how to do things better -- which has made it a lot more enjoyable.?? Now I try to practice every day, at minimum a few minutes for a set of scales.??? I also play bass flute and I love it.
By the way you can set up a signature that will be appended to all your messages in the group.?? Click on "Subscription" on the left hand side and you'll see that option.
