I always enjoy your messages very much! You express yourself in
English 1000% better than I do in Spanish, and you always sound upbeat
and resourceful. I'm so glad you are a contributing member of this
list! God bless you and your husband!

Thank you Elliot. I know it could be better, is easier to read than to write.

I have two question. First one is what is the difference to take the sourkrout juice and sour cabbage juice? I make the sourkrout juice from direction Mr. Bob Smith was so kind in send to me.
I see one have sea salt other do not. which is the better? Also I read need to make with distil water? I make it with bottle water, is ok with bottle water?
My second question is, do you or anyone in list knows foods that help with the depression? Is no for me, but me husband. he is doing good physical way, but is depress from when he was diagnose. I think he need to be in the sun more, but is difficult with the work. I tell him, to be outside for part of his lunch time. But I think with the clothes on doesn't work. I think he feel depress because feel guilty to be sick, for me, because we are too young, to just start the life together, mabye feel bad for not to take care of his body when he was child, and he feel bad for me. The mexican food, is taste too good, but in last years, we adopt too many things not so good, too many sodas and process food.

Hi, LaGuerita!

I personally don't think there is much difference between soured
cabbage and sauerkraut. I think one is as good as the other.

With regard to foods for depression, if you do a search under "foods to
heal depression" you will find lots of good information there.

Something else, LaGuerita---

Your husband MUST stop dwelling on the past, and on what he can no
longer change or control. The things you mentioned are over and done
with. The only thing thinking about them will do for your husband is to
make his heart and spirit sore. Suggest to him that when he feels such
thoughts coming into his head to stop them immediately, and to think of
good, happy, optimistic things he DOES have control over right NOW in
the present.

Truly, it may do your husband more good to practice good mental hygeine
than it will to try to seek out foods for depression. But there would
be no harm in doing both. The mind is like a garden. One must pluck out
the weeds(injurious, destructive thoughts)as soon as they appear, and
nourish and grow the flowers(beneficial, healthful, uplifting thoughts.)

Blessed wishes,

Elliot
