Flaxseed and EYES

Connie Hull

Hi all,

I mostly lurk on this list.....but read the following and had to reply.

My hubby and I are using the flaxseed oil in our eyes upon retiring. It does make your vision blurry......so don't use it and then try to read or drive..... ha ha. I have noticed that when I use it at night, the next day, I don't seem to have issues with "dry" eyes during the day. In Colorado, this is a major problem. Of course, today, we have snow/rain and back to winter, so its not too dry......at the moment. ha ha. (We use one drop in each eye...with an eyedropper.)

But am hoping that it will help with 'senior' vision issues. My Mom and Dad both have had
cataracts and my eyes aren't the greatest, so hoping for some help.

Subject: flax oil and eyes and message 28241from Cliff
I read somewhere about the use of flaxoil drops to help improve
eyesight and to help with night vision. I checked our messages and all I could find was Cliff's message 28241. I'd really like a bit more
information on this if anyone has used the drops and what dose and
method they used.
Surely the oil is painful and causes blurred vision for a while after using?
