Relaxation and Healing files at LimeWire

Deborah Gammack

I just wanted to make sure that the group understands that the files
Michele uploaded to LimeWire were not of a questionable nature. As I
said in my warning post, there were multiple files with the same title
as Michele was using. It was not possible for me to determine which
files were Michele's. Unfortunately, some people use legitimate titles
to disguise pornographic material.

Michele contacted me privately and we agreed that she would send the
files directly to me. I received them and they are exactly as she said
they were.

Re: DIM

Tina

Melissa,

You are correct. I just KNEW my dosage was less than a full scoop per
day. I was reading the bottle incorrectly.

Tina in the boonies of Kentucky

Tina, the Naturodoc.com DIM you recommended advises 100mg/day, which is only
1/3 of
their scoops.

Margaret, how would having your tumor removed make you less susceptible to a virus? That makes no sense.

Re: Breast cancer

Margaret,
I am sorry you are having to deal with so much on top of the cancer.
I have just gotten back in from taking my daughter to college and was
trying to catch up on the list. I just have to give an opinion here.
First, I hope you are seeing some good improvements in your health so
you will have the confidence to stay the course.
Next, I hope your boyfriend and his doctor will reconsider their
stance. Do they really think that you will be in better shape if you
have surgery, then follow it with the rest of the traditional
medicine?
Would he really be willing to give him the shot after you have
surgery and chemo and/or radiation so your immune system is really
taxed or shot? I would think this would be a much greater risk to you!
I hope you have the strength to stand firm and not let this get you
down. This sounds like a knee jerk reaction to the pain of the
shingles.
I hope you can get it resolved quickly so you can go back to focusing
on getting healthier! ...and I do hope he gets the pain under control
quickly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Martha

To the entire group - I am so sorry to have posted something that
turns out to be "Urban Legend". We usually check out the emails we
receive but this one fooled us.
As mentioned, the information is good but I do hate that I passed it
on as fact, I will certainly be more careful in the future.

THIS MATERIAL HAS VERY USEFUL INFORMATION ABOUT CANCER, ITS CAUSES,
AND ITS
PREVENTION. IMPORTANT, BUT LONG

Subject: Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few
billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's
lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumors.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple
nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic,
environmental, food
and lifestyle factors.

Hi Rhoda,

You're a good friend. I wonder if your friend has ever tried FO/CC? I've
read that people with dairy sensitivity can often tolerate FO/CC because
somehow the mixture changes the nature of the cc. Also, has your friend
tried hydrochloric acid? I just read somewhere, don't know if it was on
this list or not, that there's a theory that low hcl can be a factor in
cancer. Perhaps taking it might help your friend eat dairy or at least FO/CC?

Best to your search!

Ok, I found it. It is 150 mg per day. So for me, it would be two scoops
not quite full.

It doesn't become rancid that quickly, I bought some at a retail store that
was rancid. Whew! Disgusting. Last year, I ordered some and was called out
of town. When it arrived, Harry just left it on the porch in the summer sun.
It tasted fine.
If you ever taste rancid flax oil, you will know! Rhoda

Jennifer,

I lost weight the first few weeks I was on the protocol, too. Almost 10
pounds the first month. It was very nice as I very much need to lose
weight!

Re: My current condition

Dear Jeanette,
Most radiation oncologists recommend radiation. Most chemo oncologists
recommend chemo, and most surgeons recommend surgery. It is what they know
best. And besides, it is how they make a living.
And yes, you should be on the BP strict diet. Tumors may grow only
temporarily as cancer cells mature and die. BP in no way promotes cancer,
but only leads to remission.

Blueberries & inflammation

Jerome Mittelman

An abnormal immune system can mistake body tissue for a foreign
invader and attack it, causing inflammation. Researchers are learning
how similar dynamics occur in the brain. Agricultural Research
Service (ARS) scientists have found that blueberry extracts helped
quell the inflammation that was produced when the brain's immune
cells responded to oxidative stress, based on a cell-culture study.
Lead author, molecular biologist Francis Lau, and neuroscientist
James Joseph conducted the study at the USDA's Jean Mayer Human
Nutrition Research Center on Aging at Tufts University in Boston,
Mass. Joseph leads the HNRCA's Neuroscience Laboratory. ARS is USDA's
chief scientific research agency. The study was published in the
Journal of Neuroscience Research.

Prostate Cancer

A number of the polyphenols naturally found in Grape Seed Extract
have the ability to impede the growth of and destroy prostate cancer
cells.
Several studies have documented the anticancer and chemopreventive
efficacy of Grape Seed Extract (GSE) against various cancers
including prostate cancer. GSE is a complex mixture of a group of
powerful polyphenols and a number of them have activity against
prostate cancer according to this new analysis that separated these
polyphenols and measured their individual abilities to inhibit the
growth of or ultimately destroy prostate cancer cells. The research
is published in the journal Carcinogenesis. -- J. Hickey, RPh

Margaret, do you have the URL for this? I have someone who needs to
read it, too, but is very skeptical unless she can find something online
and read it there.

Thanks for posting this.

see if she wants more information on BP now that she has read this report.

It is exciting to see someone allign their thinking with Dr. Budwig -
I feel sure this report will help some (like our friend) be more

Re: weight loss

Hi Jennifer,
Yes, I am losing weight on this diet. No matter what, I continue to
get thinner and thinner. I was always thin to start w/, so didn't
have much reserve. My oncologist says I need 60g of protein a day.
She is alternatively minded and thinks because of my metabolic make-up
and blood type that I need the animal protein- ony chicken, though.
She is opposed to cancer patients eating red meat. I've been avoiding
it though, trying to stay true to bp. But, as I continue to lose
weight, I wonder....
I would recommend that you drink the sauerkraut juice, eating
pineapple/papaya at each meal; if not, get some good digestive enzymes
to ensure you're getting the most from your food.
Blessing,
Jan

Flax Oil as a blood thinner?

To the Group:

My Sister-in-Law has been prescribed by a Heart Specialist to take Aspirin
as a blood thinner for a heart condition. If that doesn't work he prescribed
Coumadin (sp). She also has a history of high blood pressure.

Would the regular use of Flax Oil accomplish the same goal of thinning the
blood? And if so, in what quantities?

I've looked in the files and FAQ's and didn't see any discussion.

Re: Diabetes - cannot efficiently convert ALA to DHA and EPA

Rena

Hi Bill, It seems to me that there was one member on here that did
have trouble with the conversion, but from what I understand it is
rare. I am one of those that have no sense of time, but if I had to
guess, it was about 3 or 4 months ago that this member brought this
up. They ended up having to use fish oil instead.
BTW...I have missed infokid, where are you?????
P.S. It wasn't infokid that had trouble with the conversion, I just
miss her. Take care, Rena.

Can anyone add to this comment that I found in an article:
"some people with diabetes lack the ability to efficiently convert
ALA to a form of omega-3 fatty acids that the body can use readily.[DHA and EPA ]"

Diabetes
ALA (from flaxseed, for example) may not have the same benefit as
DHA and EPA because some people with diabetes lack the ability to
efficiently convert ALA to a form of omega-3 fatty acids that the body can use readily.

Re: Update on my wife's painful scalp tumor: please give your feedbacks

Rena

Hi Satish,
This sounds like good news (fingers crossed also). The pain subsiding
is really great news although I know the constant changing of the
scarf is pretty annoying. How is she doing on the Budwig diet?
Somehow I think with you taking such good care of her, she is being
compliant. I do have a question, does the outer ring of the wound
show any signs of new flesh growing. I mean is the outer ring flesh a
new healthy pink or is it an angry red? I hope I am making myself
clear, take care Rena.

Hi Sandra / Loretta, Peter / Rena and all
In last coupe of weeks, the tumor grew to bigger and it has lost
its original rocky-hardness and has become like a bowl with liquid
inside. The tumor has opened-up in few places and it is oozing out
blood-like liquid continuously and she has to change her scarf many a
times. The pain has reduced considerably.
I am crossing my fingures and closely watching the further
devlopments hoping that the tumour size may come down.
Let me know your thoughts on the same.
