Re: Breast cancer

Margaret,
I am sorry you are having to deal with so much on top of the cancer.
I have just gotten back in from taking my daughter to college and was
trying to catch up on the list. I just have to give an opinion here.
First, I hope you are seeing some good improvements in your health so
you will have the confidence to stay the course.
Next, I hope your boyfriend and his doctor will reconsider their
stance. Do they really think that you will be in better shape if you
have surgery, then follow it with the rest of the traditional
medicine?
Would he really be willing to give him the shot after you have
surgery and chemo and/or radiation so your immune system is really
taxed or shot? I would think this would be a much greater risk to you!
I hope you have the strength to stand firm and not let this get you
down. This sounds like a knee jerk reaction to the pain of the
shingles.
I hope you can get it resolved quickly so you can go back to focusing
on getting healthier! ...and I do hope he gets the pain under control
quickly.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Martha

In march of this year i was diagoined with breast cancer.
I have had no surgury, chemo, or radition and have no plans to.
the man i am living with is very upset because i will not use
conventional methods and says I am killing myself as does his
Doctor.
He went to his Dr. yesterday and wanted to get a shot for
shingles,
when his Dr asked about me and he told DR weiss I did not have the
tumor removed he said he could not give him the shot because it
was a
live virus and I could get a infection because he gave him the
shot.
So now he tells me i am very selfish becuse i will not have the
sugury
and wants me to move out.
Does anyone know anything about this shot?
