Oh Syd... I'm so sorry that you are experiencing that. I have had
similar responses to foods that I ate while pregnant and extremely nauseous. This may seem like a silly question, but have you tried varying the FO/CC recipe that you now have the aversion to? Like if you always had a fruit smoothie to get your FO/CC, maybe try something like one of the veggie dips (with garlic, veggies, onion, etc...). I just know how awful it is to deal with that and I want to help you. Anyone have any suggestions for Syd? update after onc visit
I had an appointment with my onc this past Monday, and we reviewed the
results of my blood tests. I have been off of chemo for 9 weeks now...feel so much better!!! I am in treatment for stage 4 breast cancer with mets to liver and bones. My liver enzymes were a little above normal, but not alarmingly so. My tumor marker the CA 27-29, was slightly elevated. At the end of chemo it had been 40 (normal is less than 38) In the 8 weeks in between tests the marker rose to 47. Not too terribly frightening as my cancer has proven to be extremely aggressive in the past. I discussed my new diet changes, at that point I had been on the Budwig plan 3 weeks, prior to that I had been following the Gerson method. He said that it was likely that the diet had slowed the progression, as the 7 increase was not very much. I will return in 3 weeks and monitor the blood tests again at that time. My commitment has been renewed, and I will put more energy into this, I am so hoping to see good results in 3 weeks. I DO NOT want to go back on chemotherapy, and desperately want to be able to treat myself with more natural alternative methods. After hearing all the talk about the dangers of CT's and Pet scans, I will put off the tests, though at some point they will likely become necessary to get a true picture or my status. I feel lucky to have an oncologist who will work with me, and knows that I have been researching and finding information for a long time, and will respect my decisions regarding treatment options. Sound Therapy
bryzamini
Hi Anna & Ulla,
I "resonate" with you on so many topics, and Sound Therapy tops my list. I am so grateful that many years ago I discovered TMI - The Monroe Institute founded by the real pioneer of Sound Therapy, OBE's, Expanded Awareness and so much more....Robert Monroe. I have no monitary connection to TMI other than being a customer. I may have mentioned my personal experience or success story from using these guided imagery and hemi-sync training, but for the rest of our group this may help you all. Following a bad auto accident I had to have several MRI's done - all at the same time. About 2+ hours in the tube. I suffer from claustophobia something fierce, but did not want to take drugs. So I dropped into F10 - this is the state of mind training called "mind awake, body asleep" which allowed me to communicate with the technician as needed, but not move my body. He was so impressed because EVERY photo came back perfect and nothing had to be repeated. Bye the bye, The Monroe Institute is a non-profit organization. Over many years I have used many of these tapes, CD's, workshops and finally attended two retreats in Faber, VA. I use the relaxaion CD's exclusively with my clients (in my healing practice of Orhto-Bionomy, Energy, & massage with the essential oils). I have witnessed so many profound healing sessions with these tools. There are many sites online and some great (but too long to post) articles on the how's and why sound therapy assist you in your healing. So Sorry - I am not knowledgeable about the computer and cannot create the links, but here are some sites to review. www.monroeinstitute.org this talks about the institute & workshops www.new-mind com about the resources, tapes, etc. www.hemi-sync.com catalog of all the tapes, CD's etc. Other sites that discuss TMI that I found very interesting: www.toolsforwellness.com www.healingproducts.com www.soundstrue.com They have a sound clip of hemi-sync www.discoverytoolsandworkshops.com good articles I have several favorites and if after reading any of these references you want to ask questions, please feel free to email me direct or post questions on the line. I can only say that I wish that even one fourth of the other things I've tried worked as well as these tapes. One important point: The better your headphones, the more effective the tapes/cd's seem to work for your entrainment. Once your body really knows what F10 and F12 are, you don't need to have the tapes or earphones on. I did not have them when I had the long MRI session. As a matter of fact - that was my first "solo flight" so to speak. It was so wonderful to realize that my body really did know how "to do it" by itself. I use these tapes most nights before going to sleep to make sure I am in alpha wave activity as that is when the body goes into repair work. If you are in active fear, stress, or tension it may take 5 hours for you to finally drop into alpha. I am still a "work in progress" and am so thankful I can still work part time and keep my "smile on" most of the time. With love and best wishes to all, Lotte PS for those who live in the Bay Area or Sacramento, The East/West Bookstores used to have some of these tapes for rent. You might check this out. I have not been there for a few years, so I am no current. |
Re: Effectiveness of Budwig diet - Ground Flaxseeds
W. Hansen
Dear Karl,
if you read our files, you will see that Dr. Budwig had her patients take 5 tablespoons (tblsp) of Linomel a day. That translates to about 5 tblsp of whole flaxseeds before grinding and to about 10 tblsp after the flaxseeds are ground. When you go to our files and click on "Budwig Diet" and then on "Flaxseed oil - Quark (CC) mixture", you will find how and when the ground flaxseeds were eaten. Wilhelm Dear wilhelm, Thankyou for the information you gave me. I have just read about the importance of taking ground flax seeds when treating breast cancer. Could you tell me how much is needed and should it be taken with the flax oil and quark mixture. Thanks Karl |

From: rottentreats50 I haven't written in awhile so just to give a brief overview, my father was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer about 3 months ago. A quick update: his tumors in his left lung have shrunk 50%! His lymph nodes have also shrunk down too! Our oncologist said that he's doing above average than most people only after having just two rounds of chemo so far.......There's no doubt in my mind the budwig diet had a big role to play (and my father is only partially sticking to the diet). At the very least, the diet is helping him with the crappy side-effects of chemo. He only becomes mildly sick the day after a chemo round, and other than feeling a little tired for a day or two more, he feels fine! ........... Regards, Jav |

Behalf Of luv2ski5009@... This question was asked recently, and the answer was that Dr, Budwig states that you need to buy he flax seeds and grind them yourself right before use to get the needed nutrients out of it. I buy the flax seeds in bulk at a local health food store. Esther |
Budwig Diet Progress Update: Lung Cancer
Hi everyone,
I haven't written in awhile so just to give a brief overview, my father was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer about 3 months ago. A quick update: his tumors in his left lung have shrunk 50%! His lymph nodes have also shrunk down too! Our oncologist said that he's doing above average than most people only after having just two rounds of chemo so far. I suppose it would be easy for any critic to give credit to just the chemo doing the job, and as much as I am against chemo, I don't dis-credit it. I'm sure it did help in shrinking the tumors (along with killing a bunch of healthy cells too). But 50% this early in the game is alot for just chemo alone. There's no doubt in my mind the budwig diet had a big role to play (and my father is only partially sticking to the diet). At the very least, the diet is helping him with the crappy side-effects of chemo. He only becomes mildly sick the day after a chemo round, and other than feeling a little tired for a day or two more, he feels fine! As excited as I am right now, I also know that there's still a very long road ahead. If there's any new people out there that have their doubts about the diet, I hope hearing this is somewhat encouraging. Remember that there has been a cure for every type of cancer out there, and that all cancer survivors have one thing in common: they all believed they could beat it. Don't let other people tell you not to get your hopes up. Hope is all you have. Like I said, there's still a long road ahead, but me and my dad are taking it one day at a time. Regards, Jav |

Hi, Kim.
Glad you enjoyed it. Here is another link from the same person that ought to be passed on to everyone you know: It's about how to get cancer, and it underscores what I said not long ago about how the best thing a cancer client can hear from an oncologist or radiologist is, "I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do for you." I've sent the link on to everyone on my mailing list. |

White's "Maars Journey". He really turned things around for me when an female ex-member of this board directed me to his work. I wrote to him several times and his motivation and fighting spirit was in alignment with mine and together with the addition of FS and spirulina was able to achieve the results I got last Dec. Fantastic stuff. Anna ----- Original Message -----
