Avacodos and Meat

How can you substitute raw avacados for meat??
There is not protein or little in avacodos, beneficial fats, probably chlorophil, Vitamin A but why would one consider that a substitute for meat. Protein is very important to the body, perhaps the most important element, avacodos won't supply the important amino acids that are needed for everything in the body. __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Budwig Diet and Grape Juice

I didn't see anything in the files regarding
other dietary items like grape juice. Are these in the files and I missed them or are they only in the book? Thanks __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! Mail has the best spam protection around |

For Cliff, Re: Prostate
nncav
Cliff,
This is what I know for it. Have you ever tried Mr. Schultz's products? They are very powerful. He would say that about %80 of his patients after doing the bowl cleans, , would get better and didn't get a chance to use any of his herbal formula on them. lol Good job Schultz. Ryan |

How are you progressing in healing from your fall in June? In one of your posts, you menioned you have tried ginger for lowering your PSA and you did not notice a change. Have you tried Curcumin? It seems to work for some. My husband is still feeling good but his PSA is also slowly creeping up. Are there any current cases of remission from PCa besides your own classical history? I logged on to the Digest files but did not get very far. I just got one page and then did not know where to go from there. Can you help me with this? Thanks Ksenija. I have learned a lot since being diagnosed with PCa in Januaary of 1991 at age 69 with stage 4-1 PCa with no Gleason available but, looking back, probably 7-8 and a PSA of 75. One of the problems is that there are 30 known strains of PCa. Most are slow growing but some are not and they do not respond the same. Any man may have all 30, 1 or any combination in between. Re: New Postee
Your site contains unique information about Johanna Budwig. Many sites include the claim that she was a 6- or 7-time Nobel Prize nominee. I can find nothing to substantiate this claim. The following is from the Nobel Prize site:

"Has X been nominated as a candidate for the Nobel Prize, or where do I find a list of Nobel Prize nominees? According to the Statutes of the Nobel Foundation, information about the nominations is not to be disclosed, publicly or privately, for a period of fifty years. The restriction not only concerns the nominees and nominators, but also investigations and opinions in the awarding of a prize. Nomination information older than fifty years is public. At this website the Nomination Database for the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, 1901-1949 is available and Nomination Databases for the other prize categories will follow shortly." Also, do you know the circumstances of her death? She was, after all, 93 years old, but some sites suggest that she died as a result of foul play.

Re: Recipe for cottage cheese
Devingel
Hi Denzil,
Frankly I have never tried making quark from buttermilk - but I do know that you cannot get cottage cheese from it. The recipe for cottage cheese that I shared works with yoghurt instead of lemon also. But it's faster with the lemon. My grandmother used to make it like this and I make it the same way for my mother who has cancer. Ekta Rohra Jafri Devingel wrote: <No, buttermilk will not give you good cheese - this only works with milk. I have recently made quarck using buttermilk according to the recipe in the files which is the recipe Wilhelm said he uses. The buttermilk is heated to 150 F or 65.5 C - not boiled. I'd like confirmation that buttermilk is a suitable ingredient to make quarck. Denzil Yahoo! Groups Sponsor ADVERTISEMENT --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo! Re: OT--pineapple & protease
From: "mari0762345" <mari@...>
I use canned pineapple chunks in with the fo/cc (after the fo/cc arein pineapple do that you don't want it to do?Protease digests protein. I recall reading a while ago on this list that it might interfere w/the FSO/CC. For better or worse, I heard CANNED pineapple has little or no protease. |
Bread
The only bread I eat is that which I bake myself. Yesterday I
baked whole wheat, spelt, rye bread made with a potato water yeast which I grow myself. I use only a small amount of olive oil in it. Sometimes I bake whole wheat , spelt, walnut bread and use walnut oil in it. I am salt sensitive so I use only a small amount of salt or none at all. All the flour I use is organic and costs a bit more but is better for us. I follow recipes from bread books but alter them to meet my health needs. Heat destroys flaxseed oil so I do not use it in the bread but I use a spread made of flaxseed oil and coconut oil with garlic and onions in it. Or I might use avacado as a spread. Or olive oil. I purchased some cook books from Barleans which are prepared for cancer patients. Happy eating! Charles aka Tuna |

Re: OT--EGGS - what wrong with eating an organic egg - PLEASE
From: "nejray" <ipuk@...>
hard boiled egg as above on wholesome organicThere are mixed opinions re: eggs. I would strictly avoid conventional eggs and all fried eggs. Among other reasons, eggs contain arachidonic acid and iron, and egg whites reportedly contain enzyme inhibitors. If you eat eggs, I would use only organic or (preferably) Omega 3 free-range eggs and consume only small amounts and avoiding eating them at night. |
Re: OT--kiwi, avocado, bread
From: "nejray" <ipuk@...>
While I do eat a lot of raw foods my most of the time it consistesof raw salad I do add...kiwiI believe kiwi are cancer-healing. Just don't put them (or papaya or pineapple) in the FSO/CC since they contain protease. avocadosare cancer-healing too. and breadFor reasons unrelated to Budwig, I would use only 100% sprouted bread (e.g., Ezekiel). |
concentrated juice
Dr. Budwig said no to concentrated juice. Freshly squeezed grape juice is fine but not concentrated.
