The only bread I eat is that which I bake myself. Yesterday I
baked whole wheat, spelt, rye bread made with a potato water
yeast which I grow myself. I use only a small amount of olive oil
in it. Sometimes I bake whole wheat , spelt, walnut bread and
use walnut oil in it. I am salt sensitive so I use only a small
amount of salt or none at all. All the flour I use is organic and
costs a bit more but is better for us. I follow recipes from bread
books but alter them to meet my health needs.
Heat destroys flaxseed oil so I do not use it in the bread but I use
a spread made of flaxseed oil and coconut oil with garlic and
onions in it. Or I might use avacado as a spread. Or olive oil.
I purchased some cook books from Barleans which are
prepared for cancer patients.
