Supplements for Budwig Diet

HI All,

I am new in this group and was wondering if you got healed with the Budwig diet but continued to use vitamins, teas,?and supplements. Can you share what additional supplements you were taking?

I know that Dr. Budwig discouraged the use of vitamins and?supplements as it may interfere with the Budwig Program.? However, some of you may have continued to take it with the Budwig diet and still got healed.

Also, what kind of water do you drink if bottled water is being discouraged? Do you have a water system that you can recommend?

Thank you so much.

Best,

Me-Ann

Re: Organic low fat milk

Dear Jackie,?

As we all know, life is not perfect and neither can we expect total perfection in other things. Dr. Budwig used quark which most of us have no access to. We substitute with what we can. I used 0.5% for a while, when that was no longer on our shelves I changed to a 0.6% for while. They removed that too, I then went to making the cheese from a a full fat of goat milk for a while, then to draining yogurt or kefir.

As good as the 'formula' FOCC is, it is not that perfect in a sense since we all come from different places with different version of what we can use. I always believed that what ever I used was good for me. I would not go that far as using a high % of fat though.

If we could only be able to use our brain to believe in ourselves, to visualize the healing occurring in our bodies, we would heal so much faster. If our bodies can be so precise in doing all the most unbelievable functions, there would be no problems in coming out as survivors and get our perfect health again.

I recently went to see a really special herbalist outside of Toronto, a country side so beautiful that I wished I was an artist and be able to to keep it on canvas for ever. She was so in tune with all the most beautiful herbs that we see on picture. The bees from a neighbor are peacefully on each one of them and she gets some raw honey from her flowers.

This lady told me a story that really made me want to be so spiritually advanced. Her son's girlfriend was in the hospital going through bone marrow transplant. She was in a very bad state and they were all worried abut her. The herbalist lady decided to talk with the young ladies body, to her cells, to explain what is going on. The next morning she was feeling much better to the point where they took her to a cafeteria. I was so impressed and have been trying to do what she has done but always seem to lack the right words. :)

Just trying to say, we with our so special brain machine can change to outcome, let the worries and perfection go and just live a relaxed life with seeing ourselves healed.?

Jackie, I hope some of what I said will help you with being less perfect and just believe it to be super perfect and mostly that it is healing you.

With love and blessings,
Dana

Re: cancer diagnostic tests - Liquid Biopsy, CA profile - and Navarro HCG urine test

Hi Martin,

I am sorry that the tests turned out to be wrong for your wife. At the same time, thank you for letting us know. Cancer tests can be tricky and maybe like protocols not work for each one of the same. I was really interested in Liquid Biopsy and have been inquiring about it ad it did sound like a blessing to many of us that avoid the regular tests.

I used Navarro testing the first year but with our Canadian post I ended up paying over? a $100 go each time I did it. Analyzing the results and talking with Dr. Navarro to help me interpret his numbers just didn't come right to my understanding. At the same time a lady that was on the forum for a while had a problem with hers and after checking with the doctor there was some mix up during the flood (if I remember correctly). She stopped doing it as well.

Having said that, I have been on this forum for many years and there were so many very happy with the Navarro testing which supposedly were very much in agreement with their medical testing.

If I were you, I would continue with what worked for you and see how it compares with the medical results.

Abundant blessings to you and your wife,
Dana

Hi Leonard?

I have had a look at the two cancer tests you suggested and after getting my hopes up, I now find myself disappointed

The Liquid Biopsy test looks fantastic in theory BUT it is not a consumer product at the moment. There is a lot of investment money pouring into Liquid Biopsy startups companies but as far I can tell the test is not even being sold to hospitals yet, its market focus is early adopter medical research facilities - So this is test is useless for my needs

The CAprofile is far more promising, in that it is a battery of tests (7 in fact) that aim to detect cancer at a very early stage. One of these tests is (ironically) the HCG urine test. So, I think it is reasonable to expect this test to be more accurate than the Navarro test. However, the big downside is that this test is over $500 a pop - thats almost ten times more than the Navarro test. As I test my wife every 2 months thats a lot of money.?

I thinking about doing the CAprofile once or twice in order to get another source of input. However, going forward I will be sticking to the Navarro HCG test as the main monitoring tool for my wife's cancer.?

Hey Dan

Yes it is ¨C my sister in NJ sends it to me in Johannesburg

She is starting a MCO farm in CA because of her knowledge on the ability of THC to kills cancer cells ¨C she also recommended the BP to me

Her engineer in the MCO business is the guy who having had half his liver removed with cancer was then told he was finished when the 10 pancreas tumours were found a year later

His tumours disappeared after 6 weeks on Neuroquell

The cancer returned a year later elsewhere and same treatment again killed tumour in 6 weeks ¨C he wasn¡¯t doing the BP which I have now informed him about

He took apple cider vinegar/honey/garlic each morning ¨C Im doing same in green tea and added ginger

Hes trying to see if theres a maintenance dose of Neuroquell

He suggested 8 drops a day in alkaline water

I have to stress this is not a FDA approved drug/process and my information is anecdotal ¨C but I understand that a test of 29 people out of 30 with late stage tumours killed by this oil.

If you want to stay in touch on a private email pls let me know and I can update you on my experience with BP/MCO/Nquell

Wishing you all the best as we heal ourselves

I was delighted to see your response - thank you (for some strange reason I did not see your original email response but saw it in Dana's email string)

After checking out the critical sources (Gammill, Quackwatch) and the abstract of the paper in Pubmed) I did not see anything that put me off continuing with the Navarro HCG test. ?However, I really appreciated the suggestions for other brain cancer marker tests - I am very keen to do a deep dive into the "liquidbiopsy" and "CAprofile" and I really hope that one or both of these tests will be suitable as I really want tests from at least two different sources going forward. I will let you know how I get on

Hi Dana and Denise
I'm still working on the question of whether CBD or THC might in any way interfere with the Budwig protocol and it's a lot more complicated than I thought -- especially at the biochemical level. However, the more research I do, the more convinced I become that they are compatible treatments. It would be nice to hear from someone (else) who has used both but that's not very likely. I can confirm that I am using FO+CC and CBD (when I can get it) every day and have been for 4 months. I was recently (2 weeks back)? cleared of melanoma on my back which was removed surgically and, according to a sentinal node biopsy, had not spread. But I keep getting squamous cells on my larynx which was cancerous in 1995 and irradiated. Every two years or so the squamous cells are surgically removed before they can become malignant but I'd like to stop that recurring problem -- hence the BP and CBD (and tumeric and veg juice). My problems are much less than many others but I'm keen to understand as much as I can about cancer.
I'll post my "report" when it's done and I hope it will be useful.
Best regards and good wishes

Hi Barry and Denise,

A friend's husband has been suffering with cancer metastasis for quite some time, with a lot of pain and worries. He has tried many protocols but cancer kept spreading and has finally gone through chemo which only caused more pain. Very recently he started using cannabis and his life has changed so much for the better.

Will it affect the BP protocol, I don't see how, it is not as he would be taking so much oil, it is only a ml or so. The prep is different from different companies, some also irradiate them but there are a few places and it is worth doing the research needed to get the best one. The fact is, it helps people improve and cure as well, as the biochemist in the article below did.

In my opinion, it it would not be a good idea to drop the BP and depend on cannabis only, as it is food and easy to follow. Having said that, there may not be enough testimonies to see how they fare once they stop using it. Would it come back if they just go back to a 'normal' life?

Each one of us is different and each is affected by a different problem, not to mention the stress and the emotions. Maybe it is time to be open to adding this natural way of a therapy and see where it takes us. I am listening to the series of 'Sacred Plant' with so many testimonials, (this is for you Denise), a child was helped tremendously by using the Mariuana juice. Hearing the stories of changes it made in their lives is definitely heart warming.

Just my thoughts on the subject, Barry I feel sorry for all in Australia that will not be given that chance and a route to go through.

Kind regards,
Dana

CBD oil and hemp oil are not the same, but they have some similarities, I believe. CBD has some ability to slow cancer growth, while THC (in cannabis oil) can actually put cancer into remission. Hemp oil isn't known to do either, but has some therapeutic benefits. Particularly with pain management. It also has a relaxing effect and helps quite a bit with sleep. It doesn't make you feel drowsy but just lets you relax better and get into a deeper sleep. Or so they say.?

Since I already had the oil, I thought I'd test it out. I have a lot of neck and shoulder pain when I sleep due to my swollen neck lymph nodes. It causes me to wake up every two hours, and prevents me from getting enough rest. Generall y, that has been the biggest issue I've faced so far with my condition. It had gotten to the point where I had to take ibuprofen before bed sometimes to keep the pain to a minimum and I was still getting 5 hours of sleep at best.

About 5 days ago I started taking a tablespoon of hemp oil every morning and evening. It tastes kind of odd.. an earthy and slightly nutty flavor in a very oily substance. But it's not bad. Just different. By the way, the brand I bought is Nutiva, which is highly regarded and can be found in many grocery stores or bought online (Amazon carries it).?

The result was almost immediate. Within a day, or maybe even less, the pain mostly faded away. It's there sometimes still, but not nearly as intense or often. I still wake up sometimes at night but now it seems to be only once or twice instead of 4 times. And I feel a bit more relaxed in general. There have been no side effects at all.

Many revi ews online say people who have had arthritis for years are pain-free after just a few days and they stop using painkillers entirely.

I don't think hemp oil will have any direct effect on cancer, but I'd highly recommend it to anyone dealing with pain or sleep issues. Considering it only costs about $15 for a bottle that will last a month or two, it's worth checking out.?

Re: Repost: Questions from a Newcomer

Hi Barry,

Thanks so much for caring enough to invest your time in it. The way I look at it is from a practical point, which is, if you feel that it is not working as well as you had hoped for, keep on doing the BP and start the CBD as it has tons of convincing testimonies. Be part of the statistics for BP and Cannabis. I know that the extractions takes away from the 'natural' state of the plant but Rick Simpson has used really bad extraction methods and it worked for him.? These days there are many places that make it and as always, we have to research it, for mold, pesticide, irradiation and other usual that we can expect. We can make and informed choice.

Abundant blessings to you Barry,
Dana

Barry

Kind regards,
Dana

Me-Ann, I've bought that brand before but didn't have great results. It might be ok, but I kinda considered it a waste of time. And when you're dealing with an aggressive cancer such as mine, I'm not going to waste any time.?

Unfortunately, my experience has been that you get what you pay for with Essiac. If it's cheap, it not very effective. Although we all know the rule that "everyone is different" and there are a lot of different cancers, which react differently.?

But I wouldn't screw around. Google 'essiac sheep sorrel roots' and you'll find a few good sources. The best I've found is at but there are a few other sources selling basically the same thing. I don't think anyone on Amazon?sells the really effective stuff.?

Increase in markers

Karen Farr

Hi Dana and Sandra , ?I've been following the BP for just over 3 months now. Oncologist appt today a bit disappointing. Although I've been feeling fabulous with lots of energy and little pain ( I have metastatic breast cancer in bones and left lung) and have ceased all pain medications.....the tumour markers doubled in the last three months. Nothing altered on CT since February and the bone scan showed ? Increase in size due to ? Bone mets ....unclear really but with the doubling of markers one has to be a bit suspicious.?!?
Should there results be a bit more promising by now?? Or can it take awhile longer for positive results??
I will definitely be keeping on with BP . I make and drink my own Kombucha and Kefir and drink Sauerkraut juice. I supplement with Vit B12 . And take turmeric with black pepper. That's it. Oh plus I use the Eldi oils which a dear friend purchased for me when she was in Germany recently. I add essential oils like frankincense black pepper lavender lemon sandalwood and rub into my back.?
Any thoughts ?...I would appreciate them as I'm feeling a little disheartened. I was totally convinced there would be an improvement. ?
Thanks?
