The Gerson treatment doesn't use the sulfur based proteins either.Unfortunately traditional Gerson therapy and the Gerson Inst. don't use FSO/CC (even though they allow CC and yogurt and use FSO separately) but CHIPSA, another Gerson hospital in Tiuana, uses FSO/CC. |

Thanks for that input. I am glad to know that conerning The Cancer Treatment Centers of America. The Gerson treatment doesn't use the sulfur based proteins either. I do not know the Gerson degree of success but I believe it is less than Dr. Budwig was able to achieve. However, I wouldn't touch the Flaxseed oil without the sulfur based proeteins with a ten foot pole as the old saying goes, unless the amouint of Flaxseed oil used would be no more than a tablespoon and that much is not enough to fight serious cancer. Dr. Budwig says that the use of the oil without the sulfur based proteins may have "the opposite effect". My Oncologist thinks somewhat like the Cancer treatment Centers of America I believe, except she would not suggest the Flax Oil without the sulfur based proteins and is coming closer to Dr. Budwig's protocol as she sees it working. My whole quarrel with what is happening in the Americas is that we will not experiment with what Dr. Budwig has found to work because it would greatly damage our Pharmaceutical Industry. Regarding Cancer Treatment Centers of America and the
connection to the FO/CC protocol... Their approach is to use "restrained" chemo or radiation to get cancer under control, then lots and lots of good nutrition, herbs, and other alternatives to heal the body. They do indeed strongly acknowledge the anti-cancer benefits of flax oil and recommend it as part of the nutritional healing program. However, they don't advocate the sulpherated proteins. Got booted out from a BPH clinical trial. Wouldn't agree to a biopsy. Took their study medication for 15 days w/o any side effects, suspecting I belonged to the placebo group. The Albumin came in @ 5.0. (has always been below 4.5) PSA: 6.4 02/26/'03; 6.9 12/23/'02; 12.9 8/27/'02; 8.3 4/3/'02. TESTOSTERONE: 567 All others within range. The bladder ultrasound showed urine retention two minutes after voiding 185 on the uroflow scale. It's as if time has stood still. Same symptoms dating back to '99. FOFSCC is taken daily. ABOUT a year and a half ago, a few friends and myself found the following information on Johanna Budwig. We felt she had been "way" before her time, and we were thrilled with what we found out reading her writings.? I was so thrilled about the results she had had in treating degenerative disease, that I began doing the 'diet'.? The flax seed oil and the freshly ground seed were definitely helpful, and bowel transit time did increase... but I was not seeing the 'response' that I wanted, and that I had heard about.? It was some time later when I learned more about KEFIR that I realized that "this was my missing link"!? As I dug further into Johanna Budwig's writings and the therapies she used - she *always* used properly cultured milks and buttermilks - she did not use what we have on our store shelves today.? THIS finally explained to me why she had had the amazing results she had. So - now I've been re-doing my original Joanna Budwig diet - but with the big difference of using fresh kefir (made with raw milk) rather than store-bought cottage cheese. I use freshly ground flax seed and oil. WOWWWWWW!!! What a difference.? I take them together in the a.m. on an empty stomach - and it is mighty powerful for colon cleansing AND liver cleansing.? I've compiled some information here for anyone who is interested in reading more: "The Budwig Diet Germany's 90 year old Dr Joanna Budwig, nominated 6 times for the Nobel Prize, has made the most remarkable discovery of them all! After 30 years of research, she has found that 2 simple food items: 1. Flax Seed Oil (cold-pressed, unprocessed) and 2. We are. My husband Paul was diagnosed in December with very advanced esophageal cancer - in the liver and bones and adrenals as well. We started chemo and flax oil concurrently and there was a good bit of improvement insofar as the size of the tumors are concerned...which of course presents the query...which bullet hit. He has since been on a round of a new and very rigourous chemo drug which has had very deliterious side effects...we are probably going to stop after the last treatment of this round...it is clearly a case of the "cure" being more distructive then the disease. Multiple Myaloma

One of my wife's younger brother was married to a lady who died in an auto accident but who's mother is living and has Multiple Myaloma. One of our nieces got her on Flaxseed Oil/Cottage Cheese quite a while ago. I am not exactly sure of the starting date. Our niece tells me that her grandmother is doing well.
