Here in Iowa I pay over $4 for Nancy's organic. Some of the price

I was going to post the same message today.

I am also very much interested in talking to and/or consulting with
medical professionals with Budwig Diet experience, particularly,
treating inoperable Stage IIIB non-small cell lung cancer.

Hi Carolyn,
I don't have a white container right now, but I have checked both the
white and blue container at the store. The white container was
definitely non-organic. I just now, went to Nancy's website, I see that
both products, even the conventional, are kosher; I think that means
that the animal itself has been inspected. However, to the best of my
knowledge, kosher doesn't necessarily indicate that there are no
hormones or anti-biotics taken by the animals. I've emailed them to ask
the difference between the organic and conventional. I will post their
response when it arrives.

How long can I expect the swelling to last? If actual breast cancer

Hello Bronwynn,
over many months, after reading through the FlaxSeedOil2 messages, I
realized that there was a whole range of times that it took people to
see results from the Budwig protocol. Some saw results in weeks;
for a few, it took close to a year. I believe that if you keep up
with the ENTIRE Budwig protocol (fo/cc, juicing, raw veggies, nuts,
whole grains, lots of rest, reduced stress, daily sunbaths, daily
massages with flax seed oil or Eldi oils, stay away from processed
foods and try to minimize exposure to
chemicals/pesticides/herbicides) your tumors will eventually shrink.

Following are my own experiences with breast cancer. I have (maybe
even had?) breast cancer. I started doing parts of the Budwig
protocol about Nov. 2006 (fo/cc) but realized I could not keep on
working and do the full protocol (mostly because of the commuting
time and the stress involved with it) ... so at the beginning of Feb.
2007 I took a 12 week leave of absence from work to do the full
protocol including sunbaths, lots of rest, sauerkraut juice every
morning (started making my own sauerkraut), other juicing later in
the day, lots of organic, raw foods, whole steamed grains, fo/cc 2-3
times a day, massage with flax seed oil, etc.

An interesting side note: I was urged by a lady in our Human
Resources department at work, to try to get on their private
disability insurance. I didn't see what my doctor wrote on the form,
but it was approved through October 2007. Since I still don't have
anywhere near my usual energy level, I am extremely grateful that I
have the time to continue the entire protocol. Despite all the
helpful FlaxSeedOil2 messages, I personally could not have continued
to work and do the entire Budwig protocol.

After about 4 months on total Budwig, the tumor in my breast
continued to grow; on the whole upper part of the breast until it was
about the size of the palm of my hand plus fingers and about 1/2 to
2/3 as thick; it went about 3/4 of the was around my breast and the
nipple was inverted. From being able to feel one enlarged lymph
node, I was able to feel a string of enlarged lymph nodes running up
towards the shoulder.

Even though I had read that some people's tumors kept growing for
almost a year before turning around, I was uneasy about waiting that
long.

My brother had given me a book titled "Outsmart your Caner
Alternative Non-Toxic Treatments That Work" by Tanya Harter Pierce;
it is the best book I have read so far and it has a whole chapter on
the Budwig protocol. It also has a chapter on cesium chloride therapy
which appeared to work in a similar method to Budwig to raise the pH
of the cells - but more quickly. So about the beginning of May 2007,
I added the cesium chloride therapy along with keeping on doing the
Budwig protocol. After several weeks, I could see that the tumor was
no longer growing. After several more weeks, I could feel that the
tumor and lymph nodes were shrinking.

I spoke with a fellow in Canada who has experience working with
cancer patients doing cesium chloride therapy. After 6 weeks, he
thought I had taken enough and could stop. (A different information
source recommended taking it for a full 12 weeks.) Anyway, I stopped
and within several weeks, a small part of the tumor started growing
(but not the whole thing) so I assume it had almost knocked out most
of the cancer, but not quite all.

So I resumed taking cesium chloride. I also purchased a frequency
generator and started using it on the frequencies recommended for
cancer, parasites, liver and lymph problems. After several weeks,
the tumor started shrinking again and becoming less hard. As the
tumor receded up past the nipple, it started popping back out again.
Also, there are several lymph nodes I can not feel anymore and the
ones I can feel are shrinking and becoming softer.

Since I am close to the 12 week limit, I am stopping the cesium
chloride therapy but continuing with Budwig to keep the body in the
best possible condition to discourage any cancer regrowth.

So to summarize, it appears that for a smaller percentage of people
on Budwig, it can take a LONG time for the Budwig protocol to start
shrinking tumors. The Budwig protocol appears to work more gently
and naturally than many other protocols, but takes a longer time to
produce tumor shrinkage. It is my belief, from my experience, that
the cesium chloride therapy will work more quickly than Budwig alone
because it alkalizes the cells to a higher pH level. However, the
cesium chloride therapy has more side effects than with Budwig
including nausea, digestive upset, fatigue, weakness, and possible
heart arrythmias if potassium levels are not monitored.

Many blessings,

It may simply be that I am slow. I was counting the time I spent

time to break down the machine afterwards, rinse it off, & put it in
the washer.

Re: Need help with the fermented cabbage and pineapple combination

Thanks for posting this information. It helps us all learn through
experimenting. Someone had mentioned that the lid should be just
slightly turned so it catches. Your information explains the 'why'. It
sounds like 5 days was not enough for the fermentation process to occur
in your case. It would be helpful to know if others using the 5-day
pineapple/kraut mixture has had the same results as you = effervescent
cabbage.

The Budwig Protocol is a type of diet and lifestyle that helps people
to become and stay healthy. The diet is full of healthy foods that
scientific research has shown can prevent as well as stop cancer. Along
with those excellent foods is a plan for sunlight therapy which also
helps the body to become stronger and stress reduction which calms the
body and mind so that they create a healing environment internally.

This combination creates health for those prone to cancer and various
other diseases. To ignore eating healthy foods and instead to eat
damaging foods no longer makes sense once you see what these foods do
for people. To avoid sunlight when it offers so many health benefits
seems neglectful and to fill your life with stress rather than attempt
to add peacefulness where possible can only hurt you. So, once you
begin to eat and live in a healthy self-protective way, why would you
want to damage yourself again with disease producing foods & behaviors?

Re: Lightweight, portable, inexpensive flax-seed grinder.

Hi Group,

The following quote has caused me to think about the seeds.

here's a lightweight, portable and inexpensive flax-seed grinder that
most of us can readily use - teeth!

Can the seed be soaked for 24 hours (like most other seeds)? Then the teeth
will have an easier time.

Oops...sorry Ilona. I forgot (second time I've done this today:-), to
answer about the pritamin. It's some sort of red pepper product,I think
it's similar to jarred pimentos (small pieces of red pepper often used
to stuff olives). Pritamin is used interchangeably in the recipe with
paprika, which is a powdered red pepper product.

Hello Ilona,
Savory has two meanings in the cookbook, one meaning is a adjective to
describe the overall spice of a dish, i.e., piquant, pungent, or salty
to the taste; not sweet. However, in this recipe, savory is a noun,
referring to an actual ingredient, an aromatic herb belonging to the
mint family.

Hi Everyone,
Although I think everyone has their own way of coping, for myself, I
concur with Peter's friend. I have used only the Budwig diet to cure
my breast cancer w/mets to the bone. I did not share information
about my illness with anyone but my immeditate family ( my husband
and 2 of my 4 children ( the adult ones), and one very close friend (
and that was not until the Budwig was in full swing and the pain was
gone, and lastly, people on this list . For me, I knew/know that the
emotional stress of "well-wishers", however sincere they might be,
would be more than I would be able to emotionally handle. As far as
the allopathic community, I've been that route, for other illness',
before and know full well that the stress of their pressure to
succumb to their means is definitely more than I wanted to deal with,
knowing in advance that stress is one of the contributor's to the
cancer in the first place. I don't share this to stand in judgement
of anyone who chooses a different path, I share it to be of support

Hi Christine,

I know nothing above lovenox, but I looked up its name, Enoxaparin,
and did a search of the group. The post below was from an MD (message
33842). He would be worth contacting I htink - particularly since he
is in our group and has some ideas for alternatives to this drug.

Admittedly he is talking about strokes, but seems to understand this
medication.

I have included the post here (apologies for length - didnt want to
trim too much)

Please pass my best wishes to Mary and your family,
Peter

-----------------

Avoid Massive Strokes Naturally

Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon recently
suffered a catastrophic stroke. He remains in
a coma as I write. This wasn?t Sharon?s first
stroke. He suffered a very minor stroke just
a few weeks prior to this one.

You may think that the second stroke was caused
by the first. But in fact, the two strokes were
very different and had different causes. The
tragedy is Sharon could have avoided both
strokes.

The first stroke was an ischemic stroke. It was
caused when a clot left his heart and lodged in
his brain. Immediately following that stroke,
doctors put Sharon on a blood thinner. And that?s
what caused a major bleed in Sharon?s brain - a
deadly hemorrhagic stroke.

According to the Associated Press, "Experts agree
that while the blood thinner, an anticoagulant
called enoxaparin, did not cause the blood vessel
in Sharon?s head to burst, the bleeding would
probably not have been so severe if he had not
been taking the medication."

Still, doctors defend the practice of using blood
thinners to treat stroke patients. "The doctors
were responding to that first stroke properly
with the use of blood thinners," said Dr. Keith
Siller, medical director of the Comprehensive
Stroke Care Center at New York University. "That
comes with a price. The price is the increased
risk of brain hemorrhage, which is what happened
in this case."

What does that mean for the millions of American
on blood thinners for atrial fibrillation? Are
they destined to suffer massive strokes like
Ariel Sharon when they?re placed on thinners?

It?s a very real possibility. While this study
on one person proves nothing, it should send
alarm bells. Hemorrhagic stroke in the brain
is usually far more crippling than an ischemic
stroke. The bleed displaces and compresses tissue,
even far from where the bleeding occurs. And in
the very limited space of your rigid skull, there?s
just no room for compression.

Blood thinners do more than increase your risk of
hemorrhagic stroke. They bring other nasty side
effects, too. They stop vitamin K action. Vitamin
K makes clotting factors in your liver. It?s also
critical in laying down calcium in your bones.
It?s a largely unknown critical factor in keeping
calcium out of your arteries as well. So blood
thinners are a prescription for osteoporosis. I
know many people who developed this scourge after
their doctors put them on the drug.

The truth is most people with atrial fibrillation
never develop clots. They have a clotting system
that?s operating normally. Those who do develop
clots have other non-heart risks for thick blood.
These include deficiencies in nutrients that have
been proven to help regulate the body?s clotting
mechanisms.

I?ve repeatedly told you of many of these alterna-
tives to blood thinners. But it can be a hard sell,
due to the pervasive influence of conventional
doctors. I?ve recommended these nutrients to my
patient with atrial fibrillation for years. And
I have never seen a clotting event in any of them.

So what are these nutrients? They include omega-3
fatty acids, vitamin E, bioflavonoids (such as ginkgo),
and natural clotting modulators in their diet (such
as garlic). And there?s an even better nutrient for
regulating your clotting system - nattokinase. This
nutrient is made from fermented soy. And it normalizes,
or optimizes, your blood?s clotting system.

These nutrients don?t cause bleeding problems because
they restore your clotting system to what it should be.

If you have atrial fibrillation, you don?t have to
suffer the same fate as Ariel Sharon. Before you
embark on risky blood thinners, ask your alternative
physician for a program to optimize your clotting
system. Doing so should ensure that you?re more
protected from both types of stroke than you would
be with blood thinners.

Should I ever get atrial fibrillation, I would avoid
the risky drugs and follow the nutrient program I just
told you about. I wish Ariel Sharon and his doctors
had this information. It could have prevented both of
the strokes he suffered.

Yours for medical freedom,

Robert Jay Rowen, MD
