this?"

Hello Ilona,
Savory has two meanings in the cookbook, one meaning is a adjective to
describe the overall spice of a dish, i.e., piquant, pungent, or salty
to the taste; not sweet. However, in this recipe, savory is a noun,
referring to an actual ingredient, an aromatic herb belonging to the
mint family.
