Re: Breaking the Budwig rule!!!!!
here is a thought... i have not read the original where Dr. Budwig apparently mentions this observation of hers... could it be just that - an empirical observation the whys of which she chose not to invest time to more deeply investigate since she preferred spending her time helping so many heal who carefully followed her instructions "to the letter"?

Thanks, Barb ..> From: "max" <max@...> Re: Breaking the Budwig Rules I believe Cliff reported many such cases he knew of in an earlier post. Perhaps this indicates that FO/CC should be used together with another modality like beta-glucan so that the results are more permanent, whether the protocol is followed or not after remission is obtained. Wilhelm,
Here is the reference to the cox inhibitors. ( 17548 ) Also referenced in that post is this table My question would be this, since curcumin and turmeric are both cox2 inhibitors, does that interfere with omega 3 oils? I have read that the cox2 is the "bad" one,(even though we need them in a healthy body) in a cancerous body and that cox1 is good. Which one actually is used for omega 3 utilization. I read somewhere recently that it takes 2-3 years to remove the trans
fatty acids from our systems, even with being on the Budwig diet. I could therefore see that slipping off could be hazardous, but I am not sure why it could not be reversed again, but then I am an engineer not a physicist. Wilhelm,
Here are the references to the use of anti-oxidants and Budwig Protocol. ( 17583, 938, 1907 and more ) I haven't found the references to the cox inhibitors. The post concluded that the action of the cox inhibitors was the action required to use omega 3 properly. I think I remember it being posted by Greg Watson. But I have yet to find it. Persons who break the rules of this diet, Dr Budwig reports, (ie
eating preserved meats, candy, etc) will sometimes grow rapidly worse and cannot be saved after they come back from their spree I asked this question after reading the above from numerous web sites. This was I believe a quote from one of the books still in German!!!! perhaps - but i have not seen this in the two already translated books in English When I read this I did not read it saying that we should stick with the Budwig diet ( that goes without saying) - The part I found intesting was: 'and cannot be saved after they come back from their spree' which would indicate that if we were to stray ie sugar or the wrong fats for a while, then came back to the Budwig diet it may not work a second time for some - 'hence cannot be saved after they come back' I find that strange if it works once - why not twice or three times Regards Ray |

Has anyone read her books and think they areIf money's not an issue. I've seen her speak and am familiar w/her work. She's greatly inspiring, but in addition to being very dogmatic, she seems to use a 1-dimensional, extreme approach that, in my opinion, is suitable only for a small minority of cancer patients. I believe the informational contents in her products can be obtained elsewhere for free. I THINK the primary components of her approach are juicing and raw fruit-vegetable diet (the barebones of Gerson therapy). She said traditional cancer treatment is likeYes, and that's how she typically speaks, and thinks, from what I've seen. take time to decide- alternative or allopathic
I found it very interesting when my son was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. In August, it was felt. By the time of the biopsy and the doctors waiting to let him know he found out in October two months later. THey never felt it was important enought to call him and tell him to come in when they got the results.
The minute they told him, there was an urgency to set the appt. for surgery. They told him it was the easiest cancer to treat. Thank goodness he did not go for surgery. He kept postponing it until January of this year at which time he decided only altnernatives. Since then we have heard of a lot of horror stories when taking the allopathic route with his cancer. On one of the alternative sites it says when you find out that you have cancer take 2 weeks off and do nothing but research. Whatever the decision at least let it be a very informed one. Rhoda Yahoo! How long does it take to get the oil? ABOUT 10 DAYS. IF SHIPPING THE FASTER METHOD. THE SAME PRICE TO SHIP 2 BOTTLES AS ONE.I ORDERED 2 IN APRIL. I AM ABOUT TO OPEN MY 2ND BOTTLE. How long does one bottle of "R" last? (so I know how many to buy) IT DEPENDS ON HOW OFTEN YOU APPLY IT AND IF YOU APPLY IT ALL OVER etc.. Does he ship and bill or does he wait until payment is received before shipping? I SENT HIM MY VISA CARD INFO VIA EMAIL. YOU CAN FAX THE INFO.
